Yes. These are people with no balls to go for what they truly want nor dare to pursue their dreams so it’s easy to go to work daily like their routine for the say past 15 years and complain things are expensive, cannot change job later hard to find (they miss their chance in their 20s or 30s)

Multiple stream of incomes is gd. No need to stress if there is retrenchment or restructure. I rather be doing something during my free time than seating around with others in a coffeeshop listening to others complain about their work and unfair promotions
 
In Sg if u r not fucking rich man son, you have loans, installments, build, you better clinge on current job, only if you got a new offer.
I am in mid age crisis, I am not rich man son, have flat instalments, chao ahneh company suddenly fold, faster look for job, reduce 20% of wages then have interview calling.
So sad.:biggrin:

Yeah. People with over 10 years of work experience gets low balled in interviews on their salary and there are people who out of desperation accept these kind of job offers

There are many including myself who are not rich man’s sons but we dont do that
 
I sharing my own mid age crisis experience, due to company suddenly closure, near 2 months unemployed, cannot afford to wait, got a job 20% less wages, demoted from manager to executive, no choice to accept. :biggrin:

There are many civil servants still clinging onto their jobs in their early to mid-60s, afraid that they won't have enough money to last their lifetime if they retire now.
