The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered from the waters off Sembawang Park on Oct 20 afternoon.

The police said they received a call for assistance at around 2:20pm on Monday.

The body was seen floating in the water near the shore and was subsequently retrieved.

Based on preliminary investigations, the police do not suspect foul play.

The police are investigating.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic pronounced a man dead at the scene.

SCDF said they received a call for assistance at Kampong Wak Hassan at about 2:30pm.

Photos circulated on the Sgfollowsall Telegram account showed a blue tent on the grass at Kampong Wak Hassan.

If there is no sign of foul play, then this young man probably lost hope of any future in S'pore where all his dreams have been dashed by SG govt policies to overpopulate this tiny island, sending the cost of living shooting skywards. Only the wealthy are able to keep their heads above water in the most expensive city in the world.
