Thought the person on the rental contract (leasehold) is called the owner? Owner, leasee lol...... with the insidious intent to obfuscate the defination of home ownership I see....

People paid good money for long term stay. So if its hdb's right to take back, I expect HDB to pay back remaining lease money right?

The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore does not have a specific section dedicated to property law; rather, property ownership and rights are governed by various statutes and principles, including the Land Titles Act, the Housing and Development Board (HDB) Act for public housing, and common law principles. While the Singaporean constitution guarantees fundamental liberties like freedom of speech and association, it doesn't detail property rights in the same way some other constitutions do.

The Constitution of totalitarian regimes is worth nothing. China also has a 'Constitution'... turned out well didn't it?

HDB will reserve these 70 units for the filthy Cecas.
