what about seller? There should be more restrictions on PRs buying and selling HDB flats else they will keep pushing the price up and disappear at will while taking the profits with them. We are ones suffering from the high prices caused by them

Consider it a lease but deposit up front needed is $1.5m….but still got to pay property tax

Govt should set HDB resale price, eg cannot exceed inflation + 3% margin max.

Then year 70 onwards it's a straight line curve down to $0.
 
After government confirmed no more SERS and HDB started displaying remaining lease price at 50% of original buy price, I wonder who are all these idiots still paying for sky high prices
