Disposable chopsticks are used almost daily by everyone. But have you noticed these circles and do you know what they represent?

These circles are marked so that the manufacturer knows how many times they've been recycled. Correspondingly, chopsticks with no circles are new, 2-circled ones have been recycled twice, and similarly, the ones with 3 circles were recycled three times. After the third recycling, these chopsticks will be no longer be recycled for consumption safety measures.
