I think LHL secretly upholds and respects Tun Mahathir as a father figure, more than his own daddy.
After all he knows Tun is a strict follower of Islam and lives life by it's rules, and doesn't rule by Machiavellian.

Plus minus. My dad's birth was registered 1 year late so he is in reality a year older. Chances are late registration than early, even offices in those days did not practice backdating.

In a video posted on Facebook today, Mahathir said he felt extremely exhausted and had to rest.
“On my doctor’s advice, I went to the hospital (IJN) but it was just a short visit, and I returned soon after.
