Around 10 years ago, Goh CT likened Opposition politicians to untrustworthy characters. Goh said: “They’re looking for plunder … So now a new tribe is coming, do they really have an interest in Marine Parade people’s welfare?” Ironically, all the plunder thus far has come from the PAP (Plunder And Plunder) which has been bleeding us of our hard-earned money through constant hikes in essential services and indirect taxation.

The best government is a small and limited government, small to prevent wastage, limited to prevent overreach. These two traits cannot be achieved by 'ownself check ownself'.

This is the surest sign that S'pore is overcrowded. Residents are willing to fork out their life savings for a ticking time bomb pigeon hole that will never belong to the buyer, but to the HDB landlord.

The S'pore of today is an elitist society, with a huge influx of foreigners, low wages and a high cost of living unmatched by any developed country in the world. S'pore is now ranked the most expensive place in the world in 10 of the past 12 years to live in, where S'poreans are paid among the lowest wages among the high-income countries. Ask LHL how exactly have S'poreans become better off when most of the newly created jobs have gone to foreigners.
