Sg Redditor kena yelled at by Chicken rice hawker for walking away withou paying when hawker upgrades his ala carte to set meal without asking

LAN Jioa Lah… the bloody chicken rice hawker trying to pull a fast one…
 
He did the right thing to walk away.
However he was not not confident enough while walking away or else he wouldn't have asked was he wrong.
 
Cannot use CDC to pay & tell the hawker to keep the change ?

A customer has to be more careful when walking away from a durian stallholder who tries to scam him.

Most hawkers are cheats who overcharge while providing kids' size meals for adults. We must teach them a lesson by walking off before getting scammed.
