Thank for your fast reply. And also your advice and attachment. I just feel down and depressed when I discover things are not easy as I thought when it comes to getting a job.

I am thankful that you want to meet me for a chat but it’s ok. Your reply is enough for me. Sure you can post on your blog but maybe you can remove my name.

At the age of 28, I really hope I am not left too far behind..unable to catch up. I always thought having a diploma will get me a starting pay of $2k and that it will be easy but it is not so. Even a $1.5k shipping job I cant guarantee of getting it plus I also don’t have the related skills. Nevertheless writing to you make me feel a little better.

Never knew whether such letters are even genuine-but if this 28 year old really cannot get a job, writing letters to Gilbert is not going to change anything.
Take action, like organise a protest or join an opposition party ,raise awareness and galvanise people to boot the PAP out.
You are jobless, what do you have to lose?

A diploma holder has no future in Singapore unless he becomes his own towkay like me. Go to SIM and get a degree in anything. Beats being a lowly diploma holder any day.

At 28, still cannot take control of his life or at least, have that hunger in the fire in the belly to go out to the world & try at anything, even if one fails. Fall, get up again & find that niche & the thing that one does best, rather than moan & groan.

We have to thank the PAP for producing the younger generation like this, who is so spoon-fed, that you remove the spoon...they go 'cold turkey'. Mind you, they have gone through the education given by the PAP, gone through National Service.

And you get this kind of people & this kind of Generation?..Singapore is doomed.
