How many actually live and feel like they are the 3rd richest citizens in the world?
Maybe only the plundering pappies and the rich fts they imported.
Many Sinkies might look good on the outside but their private properties and big cars are all highly geared....and many more are living from hand to mouth without any savings

totally agree. 1 local tour guide told me our tourists nos is bs. he said many are here on transit and our STP considered these as sg tourists so that on paper, it looks good.

If you spent your weekend stuffing your fat faces while cursing PAP, it only means you are an ingrate. In a real mismanaged country, citizens are unemployed or paid so little that they can barely afford their basic groceries. Last I checked, Din Tai Fung restaurants are still packed with people eating their middle class michelin food. The DTF index never lies.

If you think about it, sinkies also one of the highest taxed in the world if you own a car.
Whatever savings with the low income tax rate totally reversed.
This could be the reason why the people does not feel rich.
