I'm currently listening to this radio station on the internet:

http://scfire-ntc-aa06.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1081

Rautemusik.fm club. I understand that rautemusik plays a whole range of genres of music from like hip hop, pop and son on but this particular channel plays euro techno with a bit of trance in it.

It's really good even though some ppl stereotype euro techno as ah beng music but it's not. I also understand that euro dance/techno is considered something like lower classed than trance or other forms of electronic music.

Nothing in particular, but those that kept broadcasting local news and talking non stop kill my taste.

that's why you need to listen to some internet radio stations. For locally broadcast stations 91.3fm is pretty good in their song selection. They play dance and techno type of music at a certain time but i find their djs annoying. Lush 99.9 is pretty good too and their songs are even more wide ranging and it sounds really good. I can listen to this station without changing it unlike the ones like 98.7 or the chinese ones which plays too many sappy type of songs.

My favourite local station is Lush FM 99... Have been listening to them since their 1st day... Cool tunes by them.. Chill out lounge music, Latin jazz...

My favourites are JAM 88.3 FM (the Philippines) for great music selection and Luktung Inter FM 94.5 (Thailand for good Luktung music, Luktung FM 95 also not bad)

thanks to my iphone app i should be able to listen to these thai stations if they do stream online.

Why do you like issan culture so much? Issan ppl are considered country aka low class ppl in thailand but they do have a kind heart that's the popular stereotype in thailand.

local 91.3 not bad, with good dance music. especially jason chow still DJ that time. 91.3 is the first radio station to play trance in sg in the 90s!!! Others, got a lot of annoying DJs talking cock.

how about rediffusion??? remember??? last time only 2 channel. english and chinese.

They are a nice bunch of hard working people. I like their food very much too and the music is very fun and always cannot leave out their music in a party. As for class I have seen so often the high society people in Thailand are every more low class than them Isaan people, phtui. Don't think they are just simple country bumpkins, Isaan people knows about democracy and their rights much better than Sinkies. Isaan people has more balls than wimpy Sinkies when its time to claim for their rights (sometimes I cannot disagree with Tonychat).

Oh one last thing I also love their homemade "cocktail", satho.

Nice. I heard a few luk tung songs and some of them sound pretty good. Very original sounding and no foreign influences unlike the typical thai sappy love song or their rock songs.

I also remember watching your video of your company's celebration and i saw many of your employees dancing to some luk tung. So i assume most of your employees are issan peeps? Do non issan thais like luk tung?

I prefer FM 95.5 Virgin Hitz, a Bangkok station playing pop songs. Local wise, I prefer 972 and Malaysia MY FM.

80%. Because the music is easy going and fun yes it had influence the Thai society if I can say so it's not uncommon for non Isaan to like it.

Not into the lounge music. What are the time slots when Lush plays the jazz? Thanks.

Only listen to radio when driving, usually stuck with 883 and 950. :(

91.3 djs are quite annoying in my opinion. Especially rod montero and their stupid segement called kenna plucked where they make prank calls to various ppl.

Ah Clone I don't think Lush got a special time slot for jazz as the songs that they play on their station are usually mix... But no worries.. No teeny bopper songs on Lush.. But I would recommend you these Online radio stations for good pure jazz..

Lush song selections are pretty good. They do play some occasional popular music or club tunes and they mix it well. I would say they are one of the best local stations when it comes to listening to music. There's no need to change the station.

Few years back I bought a DAB radio tuner just to listen to Lush.. Jah, you should check out this US duo Thievery Corporation.. Lush will frequently play their tracks on their station.. They did a great mix of old jazz, reggae, lounge songs..

Hello, does anyone know what is DJ Jason Chow up to these days?

Someone I know wants to hire him on an extremely long-term basis.
