Dog Whisperer to come to Singapore in June

CESAR Millan, aka the Dog Whisperer, will be coming to town.

In an interview from Los Angeles yesterday, Millan told my paper "it's confirmed" that he will be in Singapore in June.

"I'm really excited, because it sounds like people in Singapore have problems with their dogs," he joked, after being told that some owners are troubled by their dogs' excessive barking, among other issues here.

No other details were available, but Mexico-born Millan frequently runs workshops for dog owners in various countries.

The 42-year-old is the star of National Geographic Channel's popular Dog Whisperer With Cesar Millan TV show.

The channel is running a dog-adoption drive - the National Geographic Channel Free Pet Shop - next Saturday and Sunday at East Coast Park. There will be 80 dogs for adoption each day.

1. Swap the dog for a cat.
