A 33-year-old man fondled the breasts of his sister-in-law in March 2007, when she was just 13.

A year later, when he wanted his way with her again, he cooked up the story that his wife was being disturbed by 'evil spirits' and that the teenager could help him get rid of them by letting him touch her and perform oral sex on her.

The man, a former administrative officer who has since lost his job, infected the girl with herpes through their encounters.

He was on Tuesday jailed for 2 1/2 years, following his guilty plea last month
