If these Orchid Series currency notes is in mint condition is protected by a plastic holder, you can either search on ebay, how much the dealers or even the sellers are asking. Numismatics will buy from you, if they are mint, if not, some will just buy from you plus a few dollars more, other than sentimental values; the currency notes is just the same value as it is printed on. Unless of course, the notes have some flaws, like watermark, printing errors, or some numbering series, then, even at that condition it command a premium. If you don't want the $1,000 , you can always give it to me, I don't mind to start a collection.:D

For Bros interested in Straits Settlement coins, can go to Sungei Rd to check out some of the old coins that the vendors selling there.. I bought more than 10 Straits Settlement coins from Sungei Rd.. All came with the bust of King George ranging from 1919 to 1926.. Bought some of the coins for less than $5.. Don't know how the hell some of these Sungei Rd Ah Peks obtained these old coins.. Last year a retired school teacher paid me $100 for a SS coin dated 1926.. I then duly sold him the coin for a profit..:D But recently a friend told me that these SS coins are worthless in the market and they can only fetch a price of not more than $20.. Any Bros here know how much these coins are actually worth?

my fengshui master have alot of Qing dynasty old coins too, with Qianlong, Yongzheng, etc...he use these for his rituals. sometimes i am skeptical whether these coins are authentic or fake.
