I think the main issue here is one happened during GE and one happened after GE.

All are rumours, yet its what sort of damage that ropumur coudl do at that point of time.

Had any of these rumours been proven accurate? was it even happening? Anyone stepping forward to give evidences?

rumours are just so and if we really base everything on such unfounded tales and not on facts, we are in for alot of trouble.

I think the main issue here is one happened during GE and one happened after GE.

The damage that caused to the PAP is much greater during the election....By admiting their mistakes and dropping out their candidates at the eleventh hour, it dented their credibility and prestige, causing a substantial drop of votes in Tampines GRC....They could have cover up and pretend that nothing has happened, like WP, yet they bite the bullet and move on.

The damage to WP is much lesser as the rumours happened after the election. If the WP behaved like PAP and come out clean, all will be forgiven and forgotten by the next GE in 4 years time. By covering up, it will burst into flame in next GE.

All are rumours, yet its what sort of damage that ropumur coudl do at that point of time.

In the run up to GE2011, there were a lot of rumors on FMH but she just kept mum. So WP just keep to the PAP practice loh, nothing new here.
