SINGAPORE: A 53-year-old man was charged Wednesday with allegedly peeping at a woman in the female toilet of Kallang MRT station.
Choo Ah Lui, a part-time delivery man, faced various charges, including criminal trespassing and insulting the modesty of the 26-year-old woman.
The court heard that Choo had sneaked into the female toilet on the night of January 9, where he peeped at the woman from an adjacent cubicle.
The next day, Choo also allegedly refused to have his fingerprints and DNA samples taken, which were required by the police.
If convicted of criminal trespass, he could be jailed up to three months and fined up to S$1,500.
For insulting the modesty of a woman, he could face up to one year in jail and a fine.
