DBS/POSB bank branches are crowded today

The DBS online banking is down due to surge.

PRCs and Bangala workers uses DBS/POSB accounts

Bank run! :)

I already said much earlier that everyone should withdraw until they solve the problem. The interest we get is not worth keeping and the trouble to recover loss sums not worth it, i.e., if you discover the loss, what if you don't?

Maybe some use the card to swipe. Because now DBS/Posbank link the credit card service to Debit card.
I ask the DBS bank cancel the master/visa on my debit card. They said cannot or must pay a fee to do so.

1. Are all the old folks who don't use internet, informed?

2. The causes of the breach is still not ascertained.

3. Do these old folks need to queue everyday to check balance?

That is true, but you still need a savings account and some liquid cash for basic transactions.

they read my thread and were just as shocked as me to realise such miserable interest accrued for 2011. to aggravate that, many had their money zapped through ATMs in matland without their knowledge. presumably those who visited matland recently were nervous whether their savings could have been siphoned off so all rushed down to check accounts.
