STOMPer RichIndon was walking along Thomson Road when he spotted flamingos in the garden of a private house. He wonders if people are allowed to keep such animals as pets in Singapore.

Elaborates the STOMPer:

"I was walking along Joan road and came across a private house, with a huge front garden that had pet flamingos! One was white and the other was pink. The owner has expensive taste."

kena bird flu then they know.

Nothing compared to one owner with a swimming pool with many Arapaimas and Arowanas. The fishes finished 25 kg of market prawns per day.

I eat only a few prawns a week and crabs once every few months!

good idea not to eat too many crabs bro. Otherwise can grow to be crabby like someone on this forum who calls people twit.

You won't get crabby from eating crabs, you get crabby, when you don't have, "you now what" for a very long time, or didn't get a staisfactory "you know what" when getting it. Crabby people are those, who never got it. Not from crabs.:D

Joan Road, I know where that is, would be interesting if the flamingoes escape & fly over to MacRitchie Reservoir. What licence did the owner get to rear those birds? which department? NEA, Nparks, AVA, HSA? SPCA?

Think it belongs to the CEO of an SME. His name escaped me.

haha. Having ' u know what ' with the wrong person ...can result in getting crabs.

That is why, you must check the 'bushes' before you do the 'you know what' or request that the 'jungle' be cleared, before the 'bulldozer' moves in, that may prevent crab attack!. ( may!).

Don't think flamingo are endangered species.

Can tell from the pic it is a private property with lots of space. As long as owner can take care of the birds without endangering the birds or public, the stomper should not 'sabo' the pet owner.

Stomper "jealous", have you seen the houses along Joan Road or around that area, even the tombstones are outstanding...:D
