1. Lee Kuan Yew - Managed to win two dubious awards - Oldest Candidate Award and Greatest Demotion Award. It shows that he should not have overstayed his run-out-date

2. Lee Hsien Loong - Won the Most Stressed Out politician award and the Best Actor Award. Best actor politician..tsk,tsk..LHL was acting only...good actor in GE 2011?

3. Chen Show Mao - Won the prestigious Star Find Award. Many forumners are hoping he will rise to greater heights in future

4. Tin Pei Ling - Won the dubious Blooper Find Award - We are waiting with bated breathe to see whether she is a one-term sensation which will show that the PAP admits that she was wrongly chosen for GE 2011 or whether she will be fielded again in GE 2016 and continue to be a burden to the PAP.

5. Lim Swee Say - Won the dubious Clown Extraordinaire for his butchering of the English Language and his Zorro dressing. Will this Award push LSS to greater political heights or will it terminate his political career?

6. Glenda, Michelle and Angela - Were jointly awarded the ChioBu Award. Interestingly none of them are in the PAP. The joint Award to three gals shows there are many chiobus in GE 2011

7. Low Thia Kiang - Won the prestigious "Mr Singapore GE 2011" Award for being the Outstanding Male Candidate who makes the most difference in GE 2011 by leading the WP to win the Aljunied GRC

8. Nicole Seah - Won the Prestigious "Ms Singapore GE 2011" Award for being the Outstanding Female Candidate who makes a big difference by capturing a whole nation's attention. She also won the "Ms Photogenic" Award, the "Youngest Female Candidate" Award, " Most Eloquent Female" Award, "Most Popular Candidate" Award

9. Nicole Seah. Unanimously voted the Most Outstanding candidate. She did exceedingly well at GE 2011. We wish her all the best and hope that she can contest the next GE and kick out some useless pap ministers by winning a GRC.

Thanks for starting this. It was indeed an entertaining thread. Though mostly tongue-in-cheek, forummers' rationale in nominating the various candidates especially those negative awards are sound. But I believe our forum host is pretty much disappointed. His name is nowhere to be found among the awards. He said he wanted to catch eyes of PAP bigwigs such that he be bestowed a National Day Award and so I nominated him to The Biggest PAP Balls Carrier Award, but now don't have hor, he sure gets very depressed one. Pity him. I guess he just have to try even harder at carrying the PAP's balls to qualify next round.

Glad that you enjoyed this tongue-in-cheek thread. The gems that came out from forumners comments and contributions were awesome. Some criteria were factual and indisputable...like "Oldest Candidate" and "Youngest Candidate" etc..

But some categories elicited interesting and enlightening comments eg. "ChioBu" category, "Clown Extraordinaire", etc.

All in, the list looks pretty representative of how many of us feel abt the various candidates and their contributions in GE 2011...Hope all had a fun time
