张女士（49岁，插花员）向《新明日报》记者申诉，今早9时30分左右，从武吉巴督站搭上一地铁列车时，突然闻到一股烧焦味，而且地铁也很吵，像有机器零件松脱的声音。
“我是在第二节车厢上车，当时闻到一股很重的烧焦味，不知道发生了什么事，因为在地铁内没有接获任何的广播通知。当时觉得事情不妙，担心地铁又出问题，我在裕廊东转换站下车后，马上通知地铁职员，地铁职员告诉她，也接获了类似的投诉，会马上处理。”
张女士表示，她到了裕廊东转换站登上了另一列列车后，才听到地铁广播，告诉乘客地铁出问题，要马上疏散。
张女士声称，有一名原本是在裕廊站月台等车的50来岁阿嫂告诉她，地铁的烟是从车底或铁轨的部分冒上来的，烟雾冒得蛮大的。
