Old Singapore's outskirts in 1951. Can you identify these places?

(1) Feeding the monkeys, MacRitchie Reservoir, I recongnize the bridge & the waterline, used to jog there after work or on any other free days
(2) Aw Boon Haw - Nassim Rd?
(3) Presbyterian Church, Penang Road
(4) Botanic Gardens or the houses around there, Lermit Rd?

To own a movie camera, in 1951, you must be extremely rich & a camera too. The one the woman holding is expensive, I used to own a Seagull like that camera, when in school. Poor people goes to the photo studio, some a few times in their lifetime, wedding, family photo, to apply government jobs & for putting in front of the lorry. Older folks are afraid to get their image captured, they believe it will take their souls.

Times have change.
