SAMMYBOYFORUM'S MIGRATION
It was unfortunate that a long time running forum SammyBoyForum was abruptly migrated to a new platform on 6th August 2008.
While the moderator had informed the community that the forums in Delphi Forums and vbulletin would run parallel and would eventually migrate, many users were caught unaware when the forum was migrated to vbulletin without any prior warning. It happend overnight.
Many forummers were shocked to find that they were forced to use the new vbulletin platform.
Many of us still prefer the old Delphi Forums format for various concerns. Security was one of them.
Other were completely lost and might have lost interest. It'd be a shame to lose touch with them..
This webpage seeks to re-unite that community so that fellow bros can continue to enjoy the banter and comaradie that they have had for so many years.

Fortunately, many of the ex-SBF forummers have regrouped at new forum below.
If you miss the jokes, banter, jibes, sarcasm, and alternative viewpoints, join us again at the Delphi Forums site below.
You can use you old nick and password to login and meet old friends again.
CONTINGENCY PLAN 10/9/08:
This afternoon, I just received a threatening post from a new nick, ISDoperations, who threatened to bring the full weight of the law on me for not abiding by SBA's rules unless I close The Otak Stall by 2359 tonight. He was able to provide information about me and even some information that I've not given out to the Net. What really bugged me was that he was able to accurately tell which ISP I'm using in Singapore. [Ok who pulled this prank! You can own up now...:p]
Whilst this poster might just be an imposter (in which case he has broken the law by impersonating a government official), if he really is from ISD, he'd have the resources to really persecute me as the forum host.
I have no choice but to close the forum so abruptly. My sincerest apologies. I have let down this community. But, hey, if we didnt have my forum, after The Great Migration on 6 Sept, you guys would be cluelessly in either leongsam's or VictorSun's forums anyway. At least now you can make an informed choice and chart your future.
I have thought really hard and really want to give you your promised remaining 11 days. But if I'm get raided by ISD, you'd can be sure the forum would be closed anyway too.
So do go to to ficklebug's forum at http://forums.delphiforums.com/3in1kopitiam and re-organise yourselves there. Do so ASAP before the next wave of attacks hit again.
If the threat from the nick "ISDoperations" in Delphi Forums was a dud, you can be pretty sure that it originated from either leongsam, Victorsun or eagleillegal/Robox.
I strongly suggest forummers of The Otak Stall to stay away from leongsam's vbulletin and VictorSun's forums. They are not men of integrity and there is a high chance that either or both could well be the Internet Brigade. At the host level, there are launching all sorts of psyops daily and you'd forummers had better support ficklebug to handle such attacks. If you as a community cannot pull together quickly, then you wont survive long.
As mentioned in one of my posts, in the worst case scenario, stop forumming. Channel your energy to the other websites or non-SBF forums (eg. redbean's forum) and to the people in real life. You have been equipped with the necessary thinking skills and sources of information to be think critically when reading whatever articles our media presents. Teach and share with others that skill too.
In this way, we will all have hope for change for the better.
Finally, I'd like to say I had a great time with the forummers who patronised The Otak Stall.
Will miss you fellas.

P.S. In order to close the The Otak Stall, my nick, otak69 had to be destroyed too. I'll will now stop forumming and embark on my inner journey. So if you see any permutations of otak69 trying to lead you, you can be sure that they are fakes.
