（中央社記者許雅筑台北17日電）萬芳醫院今天表示，1名33歲的精神分裂病患因未持續接受治療，出現嚴重妄想，認為腦部遭外星人植入電子生物。他徒手在腦部挖出約5乘3公分大、深2公分的開放傷口，嚴重感染。

台北市立萬芳醫院精神科主治醫師潘建志表示，這名病患已婚且有工作，在民國97年就曾到精神科就診，後來並未持續服藥治療，逐漸出現妄想、幻聽等症狀。

潘建志表示，陳姓病患認為外星人從頸部將電子生物植入他的腦部，試圖指揮、控制他，並常對他謾罵、評論，讓他痛苦不堪。為了不再受到控制，陳姓病患開始動手「挖腦」，前後歷時1年多，造成5乘3公分大、深2公分的開放傷口。

這段期間，陳姓病患藉由戴帽子、纏頭巾遮掩流血傷口，仍持續到公司工作，家人也拿他沒有辦法，只能任由他繼續挖，直到他因傷口嚴重感染，出現中風症狀，家人才送他到急診室治療。

這名病患因沒有「病識感」，不認為自己生病，因此不願就醫。潘建志表示，其傷口在左腦上方，為開放性傷口，除了膿包外，傷口大小足以將手指伸進去。

由於感染嚴重，光是抗生素治療即達3個月，並配合兩階段神經外科清瘡手術與顱骨重建。陳姓病患住院3個月後，持續在復健科復健長達半年時間。

潘建志表示，精神分裂症為遺傳疾病，和生活壓力有關，症狀包括幻覺、幻視、幻聽、妄想及生活功能退化等。他表示，精神分裂症必須長期服藥控制症狀，他提醒民眾多注意親人朋友的怪異行為或脫序言詞，應盡早協助就醫，避免惡化。1001117
