Just curious. The media on both sides of the Causeway did not point to the exact location or site. They did not even mention "Iskandar". Why so secretive? Where exactly is the 10 hectares site - east or west of the Causeway?
If east, could it be the former Sultan residence in Stulang Laut along Jalan Sultan Ibrahim - the road named after one of the Sultans? Some construction work has begun sometime ago in front of the beach where the wealthy royal family park his yacht. Not far away, is the huge royal family playground where the family ride their horses and play polo.
If west, could it be in Danga Bay area where some land reclamation has taken place and where the Yacht club is located. The road has been expanded in front of yet another royal family palace - named afte yet another Sultan - Sultan Abu Bakar Istana Besar. This place is still within the Iskandar Zone and near the General hospital Sultana Aminah Hospital.
Of course who can ever forget the white elephant "Waterfront City" - the huge project that was abandoned more than 10 years ago and now stood like an eyesore with rusty piles still sticking out of the mudflat there. Peter Lim surely has a lot of confidence in the Singapore government - without the Singapore government endorsement and support, you just need to look at the abandoned Waterfron City - where lots of Singaporeans lost money (may be the developer didn't include the Sultan family in the pie).

Yet for all the money and Singapore investment and support, the present half mad salleh Sultan still doesn't appear to be friendly with Singapore. He still wants to demolish the Causeway and build his crooked bridge - the brainchild of Mahathir and his crony.
This Peter Lim sure has a lot of money to throw. Name of the new medical hub or hospital? Datin Cherie Lim?
