針對最近傳出有人接到語音電話與簡訊，散布核二廠發生核災訊息，中華電信昨天坦承是作業疏失，誤將新北市核安演習的錄音透過電話系統播送出去，也發出文字訊息，受影響客戶約幾千名。朝野立委今（11）日對此事表達關切，民進黨籍立委葉宜津表示，這起烏龍事件有嚴重人為疏失，要求中華電信在1週內提出懲處報告。國民黨籍立委羅淑蕾則說，此事非同小可，要求中華電信3天內提出檢討報告。

新北市政府昨天陸續接獲民眾反映，表示有人以簡訊及電話語音方式告知，核二廠因地震造成核災，請民眾不要出門。中華電信昨天出面致歉，表示係因為人員操作不慎，將今年協助新北市政府防災演習的訊息發送出去，謹向受影響的客戶致歉。

中華電信強調，該事件發生後，已向接獲訊息的民眾澄清，如果因為操作瑕疵與不夠嚴謹造成民眾困擾，中華電信深感歉意。中華電信承諾，未來將繼續強化電信系統，作為防災、救災的緊急通報系統，協助政府因應可能發生的災難。

原能會昨天也立即發出聲明駁斥謠言，強調有關「核二廠因發生地震，導致輻射物質外洩…」等內容絕非屬實，請民眾勿需恐慌。原能會也重申，目前國內3核能電廠均穩定運轉，如確實有發生核子事故之虞或有重大輻射外洩事件時，原能會將會於第一時間對外發布訊息。

Taipei, Nov. 10 (CNA) The Atomic Energy Council (AEC) denied rumors Thursday that radioactive material had leaked from the No. 2 nuclear plant in New Taipei City following a magnitude 6.8 earthquake that took place more than 400 km off the coast of northeastern Taiwan on Nov. 8. The denial came after the Emergency Operations Center of New Taipei had received several reports from residents who received evacuation warning voicemails citing a radiation leak caused by the earthquake. The council emphasized that there had been no such radioactive leak and that the country's three nuclear power plants were operating normally. New Taipei government officials said the cell phone from which the messages were sent was being traced. Rumor-mongers will face penalties for violating the Law for Maintaining Social Order.
