There used to be a funny story behind the bird series notes..

$1 - bird comes to singapore (facing left)
$5 - bird settles down (facing right)
$10 - bird gets rich (food in mouth)
$20 - bird becomes proud
$50 - bird leaves singapore (flying right)

I vaguely recall a note that had a VLC ship on the back, I wonder which one was it, the 1000?

I saw it only once, when a rich relative was showing off at a restaurant called Jade Room, where Paragon is now.

Edit: found it. Yup I was right. I was so amazed by it back then as a 7 year old...

I often have to transfer money from one account to another another bank account.
I ask for the big bills $500 & $1,000 as it is easier to hand carry them

Spore must have the the largest bills in the world Although it's handy to transfer $ between local banks, large bills(500 & 1,000) are not universally accepted outside local banks.
