i am really shocked!!! can't believe another year going to end soon.

Its Christmas...not Chirstmas...

January to June was a good period for me.. Then things went downhill after June.. Recently this month got drastic improvement but still I'm not goin to celebrate Christmas... Not in the mood to celebrate..

Money wise I'm ok... I actually struck 4D few times from January till June...I played not that big.. Total winnings around 10k.. Then got dry period... Then recently strike 4D again... Won 4K... But what bugging me most is some legal stuff... In a way, i kena played out by this bastard who was my childhood friend... The problem are resolving slowly.. But I really disappointed with this bastard who not only betrayed me but many other close friends too...This bastard even deceived his old parents to con money from them... He's worst than an animal..

That bastard set up a small business... Asked me to be his partner along with his elder sis.. then the bastard ran into deep debts because he was too greedy...Banks all finding for him.. So his small business kena folded... Now he's on the run, went missing because he owed money to his suppliers.. Thankfully for me, so far his elder sis is paying off the suppliers that he owed money to.. But I still got the fear that I'll be implicated... Actually I got the money to pay if kena implicated... But its a farking waste to spend it paying for the bastard...He got to be responsible for his actions but the CB kia got no balls to face the music leaving his sis and parents to settle all his debts...

i think your friend's case is not unique. i am not sure about other societies but last month when i was ferrying an auntie passenger, she was saying how her friend's son in order to keep up with appearance in front of his friends, always ask for money from the mother. i do think the son's case is very common in spore. sometimes, when on the road, i see youngsters driving sports car, i 'd think that most likely, the money come from his parents.

Nowadays, old friends, i also keep a distance. yes, i was disappointed many times. my principle of making new friends currently is to not know them too well cos' in this way, it 'll be easier to maintain as good friends.

Agree with you on this.. Better to be careful of some friends even if they are your old buddies... I too learnt a bitter lesson... But this is life.. We learn new things everyday even if its bit harsh for us..Tell you this.. Few years back, a close friend betrayed me for a few K.. In the end he asked for my forgiveness and I forgave him.. I still keep in touch with him occasionally.. But I am still wary for him because I knew he still cannot be trusted.. Then recently he got himslef into the trouble with the law.. Kena fined 30K by the sub court.. The fine amount that he paid was 10 times more than the amount that he had betrayed me 3 years back... Then I remembered the words of my mom... She used to tell me to be patient if people did evil to you..Do not retaliate and stoop to their level.. Because one day they will get their just desserts...My mom used to say these kind of people will not go far in their evil ways.. I used to think that its silly to be patient to these kind of bastards.. But now I realised that there's some truth as to what she said to me few years back...

btw, i already started my own company since i came back from china, setup my website with ajax and css script. while i post here, i am also concurrently working on other stuff on the internet.

the problem is i need to drive to sustain, also able to meet pple in my cab and exchanging name cards. lots of enquiries, i also have been talking a lot, meeting my army friends, some of them are already CEOs and CFOs.

my china trip was an eye opener for me early this year and was a fruitful one, know a lot of pple there. some have connections to the chinese officials. what i lack is funds. if not, i will probably be another oei hong leong in about 10 years time.:p

Are you guys Christians? If not what got X-mas got to do with you? I always ask my Chinese friends about this.. When most of them are Buddhist.. They look embarrassed most of the time cos they cant give me a straight answer to why they celebrate x-mas.. Its funny when i see them shouting at the top of their lungs at 12.00 in club ...MERRY X-MAS and start hugging each other.. I will always give them the middle finger and diss them like a bunch of fools..Technically im a buzz killer.

Deepavali is coming 1st... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. Will get drunk on coconut liquor.
