dealing with Chinese company always a black hole...even if you go down personally to check the factory / company - there are always chances of it being a bogus.

what i usu do:

a) ask for their clients
b) check with their clients for their testimonies
c) arrange for visit to see their companies / factories on site - and when you are there, be alert for any bogus / fishy signs.

Maybe the PRC company is registered in the Cayman Islands or Bermuda? :D
i know it is TGIF but i dunno wat u talking.
Pls read again.

i trying to get a china counterpart, i wish to find out more details. wat registered in Cayman Island or Bermuda?

Very difficult, they may have web site showing the factory. Can't really be trusted. too many cons here.

You know how to ..... but you dont want to help ...and you laugh at people.

But you ask endlessly for help with your imaginary issues ...... low grade loser.

there should be chinese govt ministry websites for us to check on the companies profile.
i tot it is http://english.mofcom.gov.cn/ ministry of commerce china but it wasnt.
:(

bro...we r tokking abt China...check? LOL

factory can just disappear in 24hours...or register under various baffling names...or just a bogus or data not updated...

some more...chinese officials are not exactly the most straight fellows around.

trust ur own eyes or if you have someone trusty on the ground, ask them do the legwork for you - can save you alot of trouble later.

hi there

1. bro, it is advisable engaging a sin lawyer who operates in chineyland.
2. it is more accurate and detailed.
3. i have had done it for the establishment where i worked.

In other words, the counterparty risk is higher than normal when it comes to doing business with the ATs.

Right thing that you check thoroughly.

must i engage a lawyer?
is there alternative rather to fly out there and check it myself?

Bro nf,

To be absolutely sure, best check with the local taxation authorities or local 工商局 directly.

hi there

1. such bureau would not release any single detail on the co in question.
2. unless the individual "buys" it from a 3rd party.
3. honest, it does not work going through the so-called "channels".
4. hyper frustrating and time-consuming.

u can check with Veritas or something like that - they can do an audit for you.

Provided the ah tiong company agree.

hi there

1. you can also engage a renowned and reputable local law firm to do it for you.
2. there are many foreign investors doing that too.
3. or else, you can buy the required "internal" info from someone inside.

hi there

1. bro, honest what are you actually looking at or for?
