don't kill that mosquito! buddhist going nutz!!

佛在心中坐,酒肉穿肠过!

To me, being a vegetarian is just one way to show that one's ingrained mental habit of having meat can be altered.

It's not a big deal actually. There are many other things one can do to prove that mental habits can be altered based on sheer will.

Is it hard for you to stop chopping off your cock(s)?

You missed out on another aspect of the "practitioner's" Buddhism - becoming a vegetarian. There are two issues that I could never understand about these vegetarians (I don't mean those doing it for health reason; I'm referring to vegetarian because you don't believe in killing):

(1) They eat eggs
(2) They use superb culinary skills to make vegetarian food "look and taste" like meat.

this one i also feel very controversial. on one hand, they wanna be vegetarian; on the other they serve up "mocked" duck, chicken, fish and etc which are all flavour-enhance glutens that make the soya taste like meat. it's like the heart wants to vegetarian but the mouth remains carnivorous. then might as well go eat the real thing. why so difficult on oneself?

we eat to satisfy hunger but don't over-indulge. want not; waste not. b4 we could display compassion, we must be compassionate to ourselves first.

I am not a Buddhist, but I try not to kill the mozzie who is sucking my blood. I contract the muscles at where the mozzie is and catch it. I then flick the bugger into the fish tank and the gouramis sure prefer them to the regular fish flakes.

Cheers!

ok, u din kill the mozzie. u instruct your gouramis to do it. just like the infected child who could be dead. the one who shoo-ed off the mozzie to do the deed was the actual murder and he did it out of compassion for the mozzie.
