Burst pipe at Tang Plaza causes huge stink in Orchard

Customers browsing through Tang Plaza's basement food market were greeted by a rather less welcome aroma on Monday - after it was flooded with sewage.

The entire level, which also houses the shopping mall's kitchenware department, had to be evacuated when a pipe burst in the afternoon during renovation work.

But thousands of commuters using the busy Orchard MRT underpass were still left reeling from the smell of liquid human waste emanating from the lower floor.

Some were seen by The Straits Times to be visibly recoiling as they took the escalator down into the underpass. Others gagged, covered their noses, or simply fanned their faces and complained.

Only in sinkeeland and a few SE Asian countries looks down on a person who works in a dirty job. In the west these workers are respected and gets paid wages equivalent to white collar jobs. A sewage worker can easily buy a house and live on the same street as a doctor and be good neighbors to one another. But in sinkapore the PAP have demonise these trades as lowly and import 'lowly' workers from 3rd world cuntries to perform it. This makes the trade unacceptable to most sinkees. The show 'Dirty Jobs' with Mike Rowe on discovery channel proves that if a dangerous and dirty job pays well, there are people willing to do it. A sewerage works apprentice in canana gets paid more than C40 bucks an hour.

probably some foreign workers kena fuck by supervisor jialat jialat, so they purposely did not do a proper job resulting inn the recent sewage leaks,,,,,
