For me, every morning drink 2 full glasses of plain water with lemon. Half hour later, do loosening exercise and 500 squats. Half hour later do 30 minutes brisk walking.

Any other contributions ??:o:)

water throughout the day, exercise including weights, eat in moderation and try to minimise stress. Sex with gf....with wife optional. :p

Make sure u have cleared your bowels before u do the squats. And no nude squats please.
Otherwise your maid would have to come and sweep the pubic hair.

You think everybody as weak as you ah ?? I think your only exercise is playing with the pony-tail of yours !!:D:oIo:

On a serious note, the squats have to be done as it it is good for strength and vitality as well as good for balance. This advice was given by a gongfu master from malacca who gives demostrations at jonker street.

His theory is that once your leg strength loses strength, your whole body follows. When I first started the exercise many years back, the pain was excruciating, but after awhile ok already as you do progressively from 50 to 150 until reach 500. :D:)

Another advice is not to drink too many cooling drinks leading to your vintage. For example coconut juice, carbonated drinks .... these will weaken your qi ..... do boil rich herbal soup twice a week as these will strengthen your internal organs .... real advice binya .... no bluff you one !! You get the herbal soups from eu yan sang or whatever creditable medicial store.:)

Another advice is that you should try to have sex as many times as possible. This may sound crude, but if your sexual fervour diminishes to zero, you are really going down the pits.

I have this friend around my age of 69, a top retired civil servant who was quite active and a fervent christian.

When young, he was very active in sports as well as sexually active. However, his wifey died when he was in his late fifties, he totally gave up on sex and don't go straying because of his religion. :o

Lo and behold , within few years he aged considerably and his health deteriorated considerably.:(

I believe taking good care of yourself whether young or old will ensure a longer and healthier life. What is more important is being happy with yourself and satisfied that you have done your best while still alive.

wife is the stress, you know, & sex with gf with moderation, for 1 session is equivalent to 400m on the running tracks, don't believe me, ask your good old medical doctor..;)
