The massive coverage from mainstream media even before the campaign starts is already half mission accomplishment for some candidate, especially those who received continuous media spotlight over how much blessings he got from clans, societies and associations. It will, to certain extent, shape the public perception of who is the most hopeful one even before the race begins. With this, I think it really makes sense to cut the rally short to maintain the lead till balloting day.
