He should not had included annoyingly lofty details like ‘highly-selective Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP)’ nor the ‘Charles Yanofsky Award for Most Outstanding Graduate Thesis in Biology or Chemistry’ nor should he had bothered explaining the history behind microarray technology. Perhaps it could had been relevant if his experience with that technology was a key consideration in his subsequent vocating, but that was definitely not addressed in the subsequent content of his statement."
