Xmas is coming & I want to buy alot stuff from the US from companies that will only ship to an US address.

Want to buy cloths, electronicss, etc & then have them ship to my address in Spore. There are many companies which will act as middlemen including our own Sing Post.

Has anyone done a price check & have a recomemndation:confused:

I've used SingPost (vPost) before for some software that Microsoft won't ship to outside US but not available in Singapore. Quite easy to use, prompt and inexpensive. IIRC, I paid about S$8 over a set of double CD priced about US$40 (Microsoft side postage free). I don't have any experience using other forwarders.

Johnny333, check out www.comgateway.com.
I have used them many times and recommended to many friends. No disappointment at all. Usual deliver time 3 -5 days, door to door.

All you need is go to the web site and register. I hope this helps.

google freight forwarder in sg.
u get a long list. juz pick 2/3 of them and ask for the rates.
Expeditor is a US base forwarder. Hankyu-Hanshin.
these u can try calling.

if ur items not bulky, sml, light weight, juz use courier service.

Vpost expensive, but quite reliable. I think the shipping abit slow though.

Even if the product is available on Amazon, some products cannot be shipped internationally because of licensing & distribution issues e.g. Apple products . It is well known that the US has the cheapest Apple products, so Apple forbids US companies from selling overseas to protect their foreign "authorised" dealers.

I am not in the freight forwarding line. I am a user of this service with no business interest. I find it efficient and reliable. I have bought thru this company many times over without any problems. Recently i recommend to a working colleague, he tried and was very surprised and happy that his orders arrived within 4 days from USA. He bought GNC products at less then half the price after USD/SGD conversion.
Try this web site: www.drugstore.com
Thanks.

yeah, door to door = DDU/DAP
u in freight forwarding line?

Haha not when i spent long hours online. Go to a courier co. if it's lightweight and you want it fast. When you need to ship stuffs by seafreight or airfreight then buy a copy of the shipping times. All infos you need are there. If i used more shipping terms here then perhaps you can say that i am. :D

For supplements I think www.iHerb.com is among the best. I have been ordering from them regularly for 3+ years. They have many popular brands like Udo, Jarrow, Doctors Best, Life extension, Now Foods, etc

You can see what they charge for international rates here:

http://www.iherb.com/info/shipping/International

If you use DHL it's usually costs US$20 to $30 & you get it in 4 days, even though they quote 6 days. Using the cheaper international mail takes about 9 day & cost US$4. They sometimes have specials offering 25% to 50% off the normal shipping rates.
