Haha...now you talking about Indians. Run out of good Malay speakers? Actually many Malays speaks very good English, one person I recalled was the former Malaysian Foreign Minister Mr, Rais Yatim.
She may not be Indian, unless you know for sure.
Ok. I was curious about what you said about Rais Yatim. So I searched and found him here, his English is only so so, not up to Fauziah Ibrahim or Gita Wirjawan's standard.
Rais Yatim speaking so so English

Rais Yatim seems to be a rude man

Not that great but compared to say...Tan Kin Lian, he speaks much better. There also another a former Vice-Chancellor of UTM and he was also lecturing in Singapore, Prof Alatas. Sorry no video. Anyway, it is too time-consuming to look and trace for good speakers, so not bothering too much.
The name Gita will give you a clus what race she is.

The best is this Indonesian because I didn't expect people from Indonesia to speak such good English.
Gita Wirjawan
Chair, Indonesia's Investment Coordinating Board
He's good but there's no way he can match Singapore's best public speaker...

If I recall correctly, she was from Mediacorpse.
Her progress stopped there because of you know what..........
Fauziah was doing excellent work at Mediacorpse until she hit the glass ceiling.
Her progress stopped there because of you know what..........
Now her natural talent is there for all to see on a foreign channel that knows how to appreciate real talent instead of supressing them.
And they say Singapore is a meritocracy.![]()
Their idea of a good presenter are FT's speaking with a false American accent.
