Views that might be alternative or even extreme not seen in mainstream media or even in most social media websites. There are enough active members to see a wide spectrum of views and leanings. But it will so much richer is more step in and say your mind.

Do not be shy. After all your identity is not known, so being silly is not such big thing. This forum despite its purportedly seedy veneer, laden with profanities and abuse carries a rich vein of discussion and discussion with no moderation.

We have been raised to follow rules, wait for instructions and revere order. We are taught to be compliant, to follow and to comment only when called upon.

Take the first step, overcome that fear, that ego and make a comment, express a view and weather the criticism and don't take things to heart.

This forum has an enviable record of 12 years of revealing things that will not appear anyone else where the Singapore Establishment is concerned. Be part of it and do what this govt and the state controlled press has failed.

In your case, the group that you were associating with had members that were quite delighted to have their identity known. I am sure Ramseth and Bob Sim are good examples.

Anyone who had direct contact with those 2 or who knew someone who did once removed were goners.

This forum is more useful for discussion compared to fuckwarezone where the sheer number of threads appearing overwhelms the user.

Though it would of course be better that we have more points of view as that raises the quality of the discussion.

I'm hardly bothered about myself. The three reasons why I switched back to using a nick was because gracing the political frontline was over (not that I still think it was a good idea to use my real name in the first place), because I felt more comfortable fitting into an environment where everyone else does the same, and because this nick started being used by 3 people so how can they use my name.

It has nothing to do with people knowing who I am, since I have once used my real name before. And you think people don't know who you are?

For being one of the exposers, and moreover once advised people like GMS and CTL not to use real names, you certainly are a dastardly hypocrite. Unless like me in the past, more than one person is using "Scroobal", so this nick has difficulty sticking to principles. Now the hypocritical mood seems to be back when there are now "conditions" for not being exposed when earlier they were "welcomed" to post in safety.
