subject Poor quality of NUH associated with too many foreign workers working inside
mailed-by gmail.com
.
To NUH,
Dear Sir(s),
First of all, just want to give you a brute feedback from the ground that the standing of NUH is perceived to be the worst among the public hospitals in Singapore. A nickname is even given to it – National Undertaker Hospital.
In particular, the common view of the poor service, mishaps, miscommunications at your hospital is due to the large number of foreign nurses and doctors of questionable quality working there. Following is a report on Tamasek Review, a widely read site by netizens in Singapore now:

Netizens are questioning need for the large proportion of foreign medical personnel working in NUH (compared to, say, SGH). Singaporeans these days are quite wary of getting treatments from foreign medical personnel especially those from 3rd world countries. The fear is real since the quality of their qualifications may be in question. People are even suggesting to go to other public hospitals and avoid NUH if they are sick. This certainly does not bode well for NUH.
For your info and good luck to NUH!
.
Best regards
Kojakbt
