All auto insurance policies have a "act of God" clause which they will invoke in situations like this.

So for issues like this, it's God's fault and not that of the people entrusted to engineer our drainage system.

If a tree falls on your car, it's God's fault and not that of the people entrusted to maintain them.

I really pity God...

still..............losing tens or hundreds of thousands gotta hurt a bit......................

insurance only pay at market value..................2nd hand car value so lose quite a fair bit............
