Cost/benefit analysis:

For the typical ignorant, brainwashed, anti-intellectual Sinkies devoid of independent thinking i.e the 60%, the nuances of politics would be too much for them to bear. Nor could they visualise the benefits of being politically aware. Is it any wonder then that the sycophants are still in power despite their absolute incompetence? Charles Chong was right. Sinkies are truly lesser mortals.
