Looks like there is indeed a plan behind the new cabinet line-up besides running the country. It is defining a society that will include Singaporeans who have over the last decade become increasing detached from their own country due to a mad desire to bring in FTs in a crazy bid to chase the GDP even higher.

Many were puzzled why Tharman was not only promoted to DPM, but given 2 distinct ministries and those who were sharp enough would have noticed the phrase "coordinate economic and social policy"

Well, here's the deal. Tharman has been asked to balance between the economy and controlling the intake of FTs thus Finance and MOM. Iswaran has been tasked to look after the highly secretive Population secretariat in PMO. The final shape will be decided by LHL.

No other Ministers are involved. I suppose it going to be wait and see what evolves.

Like dat ar? Sure die. Already there is an FTA between India and Singapore for Singapore to offer employment opps to hundreds of thousands of Indians from that continent. With two Injuns, how not to see a further deluge.

Apres la election, la deluge??

One married Chinese/Japanese and the other an Australian. Maybe that is why they were given the task. I am dying to find out what they are going to do.
