forgive my ignorance. hows e presidential elections like? Do the citizens get to vote? if its just voted by mps n cabinet members, results sure kelong wan.

Not everyone can happy happy run for presidential election. see the quote:
" Persons who wish to run for office have to fulfil stringent qualifications set out in the Constitution in order to be issued certificates of eligibility by the Presidential Elections Committee (PEC). In particular, they must satisfy the PEC that they are persons of integrity, good character and reputation; and if they have not previously held certain key government offices or acted as chairman of the board of directors or chief executive officer of a company incorporated or registered under the Companies Act (Cap. 50, 2006 Rev. This is only HALF the problem. First, you have to get a Certificate of Fitness (I think this is the official name) in order to be nominated. See you we are all screwed? Left, right, centre, top, bottom.
