U may well be right! They must keep up with the private sector top earners or else corruption may set in.
How can we compare US president with our Prataman...
US president has lots of power and many things to do while our president is only for ceremonial purposes n carries a key over his neck.
To be a figure head and idle, demand a lot of discipline, he cannot be kapo and get involve in anything out of his job scope so it's a very difficult job for a man with great character. The late President Ong is an example, he become kapo get involve in issues he should close both eyes... Unlike Prataman, 2 terms relax only! MUST be tough for him!

Yes, it is tough indeed. Two term in Istana and he did not go crazy doing nothing unlike Nair.

Cannot go Geylang although staying near it can be very torturing. Want to seek pleasure also cannot because people will know you. Everyday must smile at people even if you bad mood.

The position for most head honchos in the corporate world gets around 3mill+, though I know prataman does not have the qualifications nor the capability to run other corporate companies but since he is at the helm of this national company, 3 mill+ give him the benefit of the doubt. But to increase by 25% is absurd and not in line with performance benefits when there's basically not much performance and that's the duties he's supposed to perform.

Then even no reason to do this. His pay increased by 25% in 1 year and we have to wait 10 years to achieve 30%. That's great. Simply great:(
