He's not the one who proposed

FOYCE Le Xuan's boyfriend is Greek and good-looking.
What's more, he has won international accolades for his flair-tending or cocktail-mixing skills.
But those who have been following reports on Le's love life will be surprised to find out that they have not tied the knot yet.
That's because businessman Ioannis Zachopoulos, 31, is not the man whom Le said proposed to her on her birthday in June.
The New Paper had reported then that the home-grown singer-actress - who hit the headlines as one of the women in the Jack Neo scandal - was secretive about her suitor.
She claimed he had told her of his intention to marry her even though they had never been a couple.
The mystery man was supposedly an oil tycoon's son who owned a high-end jewellery store on Orchard Road.
Le, 30, also claimed she eventually accepted his proposal - and a rare pink diamond ring that came along with it.
But the engagement was short-lived.
She told The New Paper:"We didn't get married.We found that we didn't really suit each other as a couple."
Of her latest beau, she said: "He's a very caring, gentle and romantic man. And we make each other laugh.
"Especially because sometimes he can't understand my English and at other times I can't understand his."
She met Mr Zachopoulos a few months ago in Greece when she was there to host a flair-tending competition. He lives in Greece but often flies here for business.
According to Le, he has brought a well-known beauty and cosmetics brand to Singapore but she declined to reveal the company he works for.
On one of his trips here two months ago, the lovebirds got together.
Said Le: "He's my first Caucasian boyfriend and he's my best boyfriend ever.
"Everyone I meet tells me he's very handsome but they have to meet him in person. His pictures don't do him justice at all."
Le had also hosted the 36th annual IBA World Cocktail Competition held at Swissotel The Stamford hotel last month.
IBA stands for International Bartenders Association.
Mr Zachopoulos, who does flair-tending as a hobby, did her proud by walking away with the first runner-up prize.
Said Le: "I was initially scared that I would get injured because there was a lot of glass being broken during the event."
'Love at first sight'
"I really feel a lot for him. He's told me that it was love at first sight when he met me."
But even as she's enjoying the honeymoon phase of their relationship, she admitted that some of her friends are against her seeing Mr Zachopoulos.
The reason they gave her?
"Caucasian men can't be trusted."
Also, since she posted intimate pictures of her and Mr Zachopoulos on her Facebook page - some of which show them kissing - at least 50 people have deleted her from their friends list, she said.
Le said these were men who were interested in her and were turned off by the lovey-dovey snaps.
On her page, she puts the pictures in an album named My Love.
This is a far cry from her treatment of her mystery suitor back in June, when there was nary a picture or mention of him on her page.
Said Le: "I know my friends are upset with me and I was affected too when I saw that people had deleted me from their friends list.
"But I believe in going with my heart and my boyfriend makes me so happy. We are just taking the time now to get to know each other."
She added that she plans to move to Greece in the future as Mr Zachopoulos has asked her to join him there. For now, he visits her whenever he can and they chat online frequently.
But here's the million-dollar question: What of the pink diamond ring?
Said Le: "Of course, I will return it."
