Massive Fraud in Red Cross. Another Case

$90,000 is not massive. Just another case of corruption.

This is not a case of corruption, this is another glaring example of bad Internal Controls & poor organization & methods. Those who are in charge, have good paper qualification, but drawing good salaries & just doing the job & can't bothered.

Why would they want to split hairs to check everything, just make sure, everything is ship shaped.

The woman in this case, like all the other cases, took advantage of these, so called 'scholars'...bet you, she may not have even a "A" ;evel cert.

The corruption as always, is not money, but power, connection..'are you a member'???

We have very complacent people across SINgapore...we need a change or we will one day perish!

Easy to say, easy to say, unless you have been 'cheated'...not in that word as cheat, but have your money squirreled away. I have this experience, that is why, I only trust myself with my own money....

Every single "lesser mortal" should know what being cheated is all about since they are contributing their CPF to the System.

Many just don't realise that they are being "cheated" by the system

My point is, those scholars are good as the paper the had qualified for, most want to just have a good sounding title, good pay, do the work they are paid for & nothing more.

One can notice, mostly it is the less educated are the street smart & have the ingenuity to exploit any shortfall or loopholes in the system, where these are the things are what the highly paid, better educated scholars, who are supposedly qualified to spot or it is their responsiblilty to look out for.

It is not the lower educated ones are the robin hoods...many, not all, to be fair, scholars or better educated ones are incompetent. In my number of yeras of working life, I have come across many.

That is an exception, but he did not act alone.....it was a group effort, he say the loopholes & shared with his friends. I am not condeming all the better educated ones per se, some of them are really damn good, but on the general; many of them are like what I have said.

Hahaha.... so can cheat system and exploit loophole to self-enrich illegally is called street smart.

It's not just educated or not educated. It's basically SGreans in general. We are good at coming up with whatever planned scenario and execute them perfectly. If nothing goes wrong, we are a really well oiled well drilled machine. Something goes wrong, everything breaks down and no one knows what to do.

In which case the good news is at least we know most of the organization do their part and actually do proper checks and audits to make sure these jokers don't get away.
