Without imports from the Ruskis and the free world, the Chinese would still be riding donkeys. China may have money to spend at the moment but once it runs out of puff, the West will move manufacturing elsewhere and the Chinks can go back to performing long marches.

Agree many are sour grape over China space mission. Not many countryt able to do it. Even Japan still renting space rocket.
Smae with Russia country are so poor but their technology are great but no one laugh at them as people look down on China.

Singapore is hardly a success. The country was has been on the decline since the late 90s. The govt has managed to buy some time with a massive import of foreigners. However, we all know that this can't continue much longer.

There's a limit as to how many live bodies can be squeezed into 670 sq metres before they all die of suffocation.

Malaysia and Indonesia will still be around long after Singapore is but a footnote in the history books.

You can say or curse whatever you want because it is free.I remembered when China started to open up in the 80s and 90s,there were so many negative reports on China like it is going to burst,collapse/explode/dis-integrate etc ,Then,I could never anticipate that we Chinese could top the gold medals in Olympic,but China is still growing and growing and growing...............
