Nokia is still the largest phone maker in the world by a large margin and they are still making profits. Many developers are on the Symbian bandwagon too. Angry birds had just been released on the Symbian^3 platform.
N8 will sell on its;
• 12 mega-pixel camera with Xenon flash (its fast)
• Free voice navigation map
• USB on-the-go and HDMI output with divX and XivD support out of the box, makes it a portable media player you carry all the time
• Excellent build quality
• RDS radio and radio transmitter
• Great audio quality
The bad
• Touchscreen UI still needs improvement, had to wait for MeeGo
• Browser not good
• No video light
• Stupid battery no user-replaceable
• Should have QuickOffice included
Time for Nokia to go into an alliance with another phone maker like Sony-Ericsson. Nokia-Samsung? Nokia-LG?
Seriously, it's too little too late for them now.
