Everyone is born with the same number of brain cell. It is the up-bringing that build the character. Further more, different families have different family values, some for the country, some for themselves and some don't care.
You can have 2 high fliers parents in the family who are busy at work, coming back home only by 10PM every night, they have no interaction with the children who are left to the maids. Many of such parents compensate their children with only material joy and no moral teachings.
That is why most children ended up as spoilt brats and ruin their parents savings. Wee Soo Min is one such case, her father is highly reluctant in educating her on sensitivity to the less fortunate and even blame the critics. LHL is another example of a spoilt brat, scared of his father and yet failed to perform as a PM and representative of state.
I agree. Had Lee Hsien Loong grown up in this Woodland kid's dysfunctional family, who's to say that he won't become a psychopath like this kid? On the other hand, had the Woodland kid grown up in Lee Kuan Yew's household, he'd probably be our prime minister today.
