u are who you are at where you live and who you mix with, therefore logically speaking our grandparents are indeed Chinamen, but not us. Mentally, attitudes, thinking patterns, upbringing and behaviors, we are totally different with Chinamen.

Speaking of which, anyone remember a very old PRC tabletennis import Jing Junhong whom I believe was here since the 80s? She's still around(saw her at the games with the team). I believe she married a local and settle down here. Should we call her local or FT?
The influx of mainland PRC into SG island did make Singaporeans more street smarter I would say that now Singaporeans understand PRC & other foreigners more. So that these foreign people cannot cheat or lie to us easily
