It is very ridiculous to give up your brains just because a Minister sounds his own opinion.

I hold a different viewpoint: Singapore is not the place to be in if you are poor.

Singapore is the best place to be in the world if you are very wealthy OR if you are a foreigner. For the former, the tax rates are very attractive. For the latter, you benefit from the various policies, have a good job here and an option to return to your home country.

They should pay Vivian Balakrishnan a visit and claims from him a roof and demand those free food to be delivered which they rightfully endow, why need to work?
