A genuine smile is when you feel good inside, and it reflects on your face.

A fake smile is when you don't feel good but you smile anyway. It does not necessarily mean that the person has bad intentions, it merely means that his smile does not reflect his inner thoughts.

It is just incredible a person can smile on seeing such tragedy.
 
Mr SotongMee, that is an interesting question. On my last count, I have 1,468 smiles available. :)
